Stanley Jackson operated as a sole trader in 1992 from rented premises in Castlebar carrying out general engineering for local industry. Today Jackson Engineering Ltd operates from its own purpose built factory of 30,000sq.ft. at Moneen Road, Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

Jackson Engineering Ltd has evolved to higher technology in fabrication area to overhead cranes and special purpose, heavy-duty material handling. We have developed a family of heavy-duty overhead cranes, a number of which have been exported to UK & France.

As a Heavy Lifting Solutions Provider, the innovativeness of the M.D., supported by the design team have created other material handling products. The main success, the “Heavy Lift Loading Frame” developed and produced at present for the Pre-cast Concrete industry allows effortless “on and off loading” of product or indeed any other modular system that has to be delivered to site, awarding the client with improved logistics, site management and profits.
