Established in 1992, Jackson Engineering is an experienced and innovative engineering company operating in a custom built premises in Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland. It is located in the North West of Ireland and is serviced by two regional airports namely IWAK and Galway Airport, direct rail and national primary routes.

As Heavy Lifting Solutions Provider, we manufacture and install Overhead Cranes, Gantry Cranes, Jib Cranes and Spreaders for Containers with commissioning and servicing also available. We also provide Industrial Goods Lifts. Through our combined sectoral experiences and seeing the changing trends to Off Site Construction methods, this instinctively lead us to design and manufacture our award winning Heavy Lift Loading Frame. The Loading Frame is designed to save precast concrete product manufacturers, timber frame house manufacturers and hauliers time and money in transporting product to site or indeed within their production process.

We offer a comprehensive quality service to all our customers and have developed a reputation for quality workmanship. Through our Toolroom Services Department our fully trained and experienced Fitters perform industrial machinery maintenance to local and multinational factories in the Western Region. We carry out heavy plant repairs, line boring, hydraulic hose assembly, turning, welding, guillotine, press, lathe, cutting, bending and have a powder coating facility available.

In response to customer requests and to compliment the activities of the company, Jackson Engineering added a Retail Stores Department. We offer lifting slings, chains & hooks, an extensive range of welders, mobile welders, generators, compressors, welding accessories, digger buckets & hitches, machine tools, drills and saws. We stock a large number of oils, seals, fastners, bearings, hardex plate, cutting edge, tips, shanks, pins and retainers. We are agents for Air Products the supplier of industrial gases and distributor of Texaco oils.

We also manufacture a range of decorative lamp posts and street bollards to include Sewerage Vent Shafts for the environmental sector.
